17'x11' Rustic Pergola and Fireplace

This distinctive outdoor living space in Cypress's Bridgeland area seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern functionality. The 17' x 11' pergola features a weathered finish that creates dramatic shadows across the patio throughout the day, while café string lights provide ambiance for evening gatherings. The showpiece of this project is the full-size fireplace that serves as both a focal point and practical heat source for year-round enjoyment. We incorporated an authentic antique railroad tie as the mantel, its centuries-old patina adding character and reinforcing the rustic aesthetic. Brick columns extend from patio to ceiling, creating architectural interest and a sense of permanence.
