Hip Roof Patio Cover

This elegant hip roof patio cover was completed for a client in the Fulshear area who wanted to create a sophisticated outdoor living space. Our team installed a substantial 22' engineered beam wrapped in cedar as the central architectural feature, complemented by robust 8x8 posts similarly sheathed in cedar for both structural support and visual appeal.

For the ceiling, we used tongue and groove wood that adds warmth and natural texture to the space. The design features a beautiful combination of materials, with full-size stone columns (3' high) transitioning into cedar-wrapped upper portions.

We installed luxurious travertine flooring throughout and constructed a custom retaining wall that perfectly defines the outdoor living area. The project included multiple ceiling fans and recessed lighting for year-round comfort, plus a brick cooking station for convenient outdoor meal preparation.
