We had YTP demo our old patio and pour a new one that covered the entire length of the house. Overall a good experience. Pros: Constant communication, fully transparent on the pricing, job was done really quickly once HOA approval was obtained. The job quality was very well done and the curved edges look sharp. Staff was friendly and respectful and didn't at all interfere with our daily routines. Cons: Destroyed my backyard. I understand it's near impossible to get that equipment in and out but having to relay sod in 40% of my backyard was not in the plans. The staff left many heavy objects in the yard (that killed many sections of the grass) that were moved from the original patio and not put back after job completion. Overall a positive experience and we would recommend them and use their services again.

Wow! We started this process back in April with a free quote from Jacob. It took two days for me and my wife to make a decision to roll with Your Texas Patio! The price was more than fair! We loved how passionate Jacob was with our vision. He handled all the permit pulling and we did the application with our HOA. They took our 75 sq foot broken slab cement and transformed it into a whole live-able outdoor space! Just great guys doing great work. They were able to identify and address all associated problems. Everything was completed within a week of the initial consultation. Not to mention they offered the best price for what I wanted. Looking for a patio or a custom pergola/canopy…Jacob is your guy.

At the start of this project I was so annoyed because the estimates I kept receiving were, in my opinion, ridiculously overpriced. While complaining to a friend, she reminded that she got her patio extended through @yourtexaspatio 4 years prior, and she said I should check them out because the owner is fair and he does excellent work! OMG she was sooooo right! Believe me when I tell you, I received 6 estimates and @yourtexaspatio not only beat them ALL by a long shot, butttt they also gave me MORE for my money. Wayyyy more❗️ And no, I didnt even have to try and ball them down. Thats how fair their price was❗️ Other companies where telling me they would use regular wood and some cedar wood. @yourtexaspatio uses ALL Hardie wood, which is even BETTER than cedar wood❗️❗️oh, and their customer service is 🔥.. Jacob is so freaking prompt with responding. The team worked so neat and clean❗️ I loveeeee their work❗️ man man man.. and shout out to Angel. His hands are👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾🔥

These guys did an incredible job on our patio! From planning with Jacob, to dealing with Carlos onsite and the different people building. I felt I could trust each of their employees, very respectful. Their work is great! Painter painted so well that I had him paint the rest of the back for a fresh look. I even had the electrician wire some additional speakers for whole home sound. Really happy!

I wanted to thank Jacob and his crew for building our dream patio. It has been a long time coming (almost 20 years) and he was able to work with us to build the patio to make it look like as it was already part of our house. I don’t know where to start. From start to finish, Jacob is a consummate professional who exemplifies what it means to do business the right way. In fact, his level of professionalism surpassed that of all the people/companies that bid prior to meeting with him (4 companies). He came prepared and listened to our vision for an outdoor kitchen. It began with an idea in my mind and after 4 years working hard to save the money I've decided to put the project into execution. This was one of my life's projects and a HUGE expectation was coming along with it. YouTexas Patio was one of the bidders and based on my first impression from Jacob, and of course the reasonable pricing he has offered, I've decided to go with them. Just to put into perspective what Your Texas Patio has done: "They transformed into reality what I had in mind, they captured exactly what I wanted and finally, they were always flexible with the small changes and course deviations we've had during the execution plan". The relationship with Jacob was great since the beginning and I got the chance to visit one of their projects to decide the best stain for my patio cover ceiling. For a project of this size of course we had some issues but all were well managed by Jacob and his fantastic team. I really don't have anything to complaint about. It was a really nice experience and I definitely recommend You Texas Patio for anyone that is looking to upgrade the backyard. Thanks for making one of my dreams to come true!

I have been wanting to work with Jacob for about three years, after seeing some of the work he has done for others in the subdivision in where I live and following his projects on Facebook. My husband has wanted an outdoor kitchen for years and so this year, we made the decision to make it happen. We received bids from a total of 4 contractors, including Jacob and of the 4 we immediately removed two and were left with Jacob and another contractor. We went with Jacob because he said he could complete the project in a shorter time frame than the other contractor and their was not a significant difference in pricing. Jacob came to our home discussed the project, made suggestions and had the outdoor kitchen built in a timely manner. Jacob was kind, professional, and most importantly maintained great communication between us and his workers which helped tremendously when questions needed to be answered. We were very satisfied with everything from Jacob completing the paperwork for HOA approval, his masonry guy (Juan) is awesome, knowledgable, and a hard worker, as he built our stone kitchen all by himself and we are very happy with the final look. The granite guys did a great job as well, no complaints. Needless to say, my husband is very happy with his outdoor kitchen and we plan to work with Jacob again in the very near future to help us make our vision for our outdoor space a reality. Absolutely love this company! After getting several quotes and calling around this company proved to be the right choice for my concrete patio. Jacob was honestly the most patient person when it came to me asking a ton of questions about the job. Prior to using Your Texas Patio, I'd been following them on social media for two years. The quality of work speaks for itself. He knew we were under a tight deadline for an event so he was very timely in providing the paperwork necessary for HOA approvals and started work as soon as they came in. 99% of the project was done in just under two weeks! We had Jacob and his team extend our concrete patio (added 232 sq ft to the existing 200) Jacob was super responsive when I sent out the RFQ. He was able to meet me at my house the same day to walk through the project. The best part of it all was that he was able to fit us into his schedule within 3 days and the cost was consistent with the market.

Your Texas Patio handled a patio project that was only a concept at first, yet needed flawless execution to blend with the existing house and pool. I cannot be more happy with the finished product. The team was able to constantly adjust as the project evolved, without any pushback or concern. We changed the overall shape of brickwork, added vents after framing and the only response we ever heard was, "we will get it done". Every concern raised along the way was addressed, every interest nailed. Having been through multiple house builds and a pool build, I can not endorse the experience with Your Texas Patio enough. The handled the structural beams, roof, gutters, bathroom addition, wiring, water heater, plumbing, electrical, AV, outdoor kitchen install, a complete pro.

Jacob Ortiz and his company built an amazing patio cover for me. He was recommended by a neighbor who was happy with the work he did for him. Jacob was very professional with quote, scope of work and deadlines. He promised to build my canopy in 21 days and he cut this time by almost one week. His team is also very capable, and the construction itself is neat, clean and beautiful. The concrete slab was poured technically. All the details were covered, including steel reinforcement for the slab, and its expansion joint. The roof matched the exact color of my house, and he used excellent materials to build it, like Sherwin Williams paint. He helped a lot with the permit with HOA, which is huge relief for me. The roof used a engineered beam to span 25-ft, without middle columns, and the landscape looks beautiful and wider without obstacles. We also planned all the details of the canopy, including TV location, BBQ station, furniture, lighting, fans, outlet locations, floor slope, etc. Even he built for my a waved-edge of the concrete slab at front, providing a sea spirit to the canopy. His price is excellent to the quality he provides, and I strongly recommend Jacob for his positive attitude to the customer, honesty and quality work. Jacob, you got a five!!

I have been in contact with Jacob for a few months and finally decided to start a tiered project with him. He came out to remove my patio cover so that I could have gutters installed. He did a great job and left a protective layer on the area so that rain wouldn’t effect the area behind it until the gutters are installed. He even discussed alternative designs for my patio installation that I had not considered also. Quality work, expert information, and friendly service is what you get with this company. I’m happy to be doing business with them.

They helped me rebuild a brick mailbox that was knocked down. They were a pleasure to work with, very professional and very polite. The price was about half of what the other guys were asking. They listened to my preferences and concerns. The mailbox was rebuilt exactly as it was before. I would highly recommend using them for your projects.

After meeting with A LOT of patio companies, I am very glad we decided to go with Your Texas Patio & would definitely recommend to friends & family for many reasons but will shorten to three: 1) Mr. Jacob Ortiz was great from start to finish. He was able to meet my husband the same day we called him, he is very knowledgeable, listened to our needs & gave us his professional recommendations on what would look good based on what we wanted. Mr. Ortiz is one of the youngest guys in the business, yet he is very professional, polite and provides the BEST customer service! He gave us daily updates and ensured we were fully satisfied with the work in progress. I was truly impressed by him and his crew. 2) The price was great compared to other companies and the quality is definitely of high professional grade. They know exactly what they are doing and you don't have to worry about the work or have any doubt on what is being done. 3) Lastly, our 15x30 patio was completed very fast, in a total of 5 days! We are VERY pleased with the outcome & see why there are nothing but positive reviews! YOUR TEXAS PATIOS far exceeded our expectations and we absolutely love our new patio!
